Spicy Green Beans

1 teaspoon olive oil

1/2 pound fresh green beans (ends trimmed, chopped into pieces)

2 cloves of garlic (finely chopped)

1 teaspoon soy sauce

2 teaspoons chili flakes

1. Add olive oil to a frying pan and place over medium heat. Add green beans and cook 1 minute.

2. Mix garlic, soy sauce, and chili flakes in a small bowl and set aside.

3. Add 1/4 cup of water over green beans.

4. Cook 2 more minutes or until water is mostly gone. Simmer an additional 2-3 minutes. Pour sauce over beans and toss gently to coat.

6. Remove from heat. Add additional chili flakes to taste.
