Life takes us through many struggles and lately life has been kicking me in the tail real hard. Struggles can be real harsh on the psyche. In my difficult moments besides praying in which I do always, I still have a tendency to speak to my mom although she’s diseased. I dream about my mom often and the dreams always have a significant meaning. I was a caretaker for my mom and we spent a lot of time together and I am grateful to God for that. When she passed away, I immediately had a dream about her and it was awesome. A dream that stands out so vividly. The dream had a message that ONLY God would know! God hears every thought that’s unspoken and I can testify to that. The reason why I decided to write about this subject was due to the recent dream I had of her. As I stated, with all the struggle I’ve been enduring lately, I was worried that I wasn’t letting her rest in peace when I was speaking to her. I was very concerned about it and prayed to God. Well after I conveyed how I felt to God, two nights later I had a dream of my mom. And where was she? In bed, resting with her eyes opened and a smile from ear to ear. I heard my dad in the background and he cracked a joke as he usually would and then we were laughing. To me that was unbelievable! When I woke up, I couldn’t thank God enough because he sent her to let me know that she was resting in peace. Simply amazing! I’ve had supernatural experiences through out my life. Some were good and a few others that I would call unexplained mysteries.
As for my belief, death is not permanent. Life goes on and the people we love never die. I believe our loved ones are with us in spirit especially through the rough times. 1 Corinthians 15:51 “Listen, I tell you a mystery; We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed.” “And everyone who believes in him may have eternal life” John 3:15.
