Practicing self care can lead to a happier and healthier you. The World Health Organizations (WHO) defies self care as the ability to promote health, prevent diseases and manage illness. That pretty much sums it up. If we don’t improve our self care, it’s impossible to properly care for anyone else either. My analogy is that we need to be recharged just like a battery. Self care is also a sensational mood benefactor. Honestly, I feel that self care starts with self love. I’ve been blessed to know how important it is to take care of myself from a very young age. I do try my best considering the challenges I’m currently facing. And quite often we also neglect self care due to our fast paced, busy lifestyle which in tern starts to deplete our energy and takes away from self care. That’s why self care is crucial for a healthier lifestyle to be a happier and healthier you.
