Yummy Low-Calorie Brownies

2/3 cup packed brown sugar

1/3 cup reduced-calorie margarine, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 egg

1 egg white

2/3 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup cocoa

1/3 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

Powdered sugar (optional)

1. Heat oven to 325 F. Spray square pan, 8x 8x 2inches, with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Mix brown sugar, margarine, vanilla, egg and egg white. Stir in the remaining ingredients except for the powdered sugar. Spread in pan.

3. Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, about 20 minutes.

4. Cool. Cut into 2-inch squares and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Store tightly covered.
