Cookies And Cream Milkshakes

2 packages chocolate wafer cookies (4.86 oz pkg)

2 tbs chocolate syrup

1 pint low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt, slightly softened

1 cup (1%) low fat milk

1 tsp. vanilla extract

Fat free whipped topping, chocolate sprinkles and Maraschino cherries (Optional)

1. In a small bowl, mix cookies and syrup; reserve.

2. In a blender, whirl frozen yogurt, milk and vanilla extract until smooth. Add cookie mixture; pulse until just combined but still chunky.

3. Pour into 4 (8oz.) glasses.

*If desired, garnish each with whipped topping, sprinkles and a cherry.

Yields: 4 Servings
