Cheesy Broccoli Bake

2 heads broccoli, cut into florets

2 cups milk

1 cup vegetable stock

1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon white pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon turmeric

1/3 cup cheddar cheese, grated

1. Steam the broccoli in a double boiler for about 5 minutes.

2. Blend the milk, stock, Parmesan cheese, white pepper, salt and turmeric in a blender and pour into a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and add the cheese. Cook, stirring gently, until cheese has melted.

3. Put the broccoli in a baking dish and pour the cheesy mixture on top. Bake at 390 F for 25-30 minutes.

Yields: 4-6 Servings
