1(15 oz.) pkg Pie crust
Filling:
3 cups peeled, sliced apples
1/2 cup sugar
3 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted
1 (16 oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce
1. Prepares pie crust according to package directions for two pie crust using 9-inch pan.
2. Heat oven to 425 F. In a large bowl, combine all filling ingredients; mix lightly. Spoon into crust lined pan. Top with second crust; seal edges and flute. Cut slits in top crust.
3. Bake at 425 F, for 40-50 minutes or until crust is golden brown and apples are tender. If necessary, cover edge of crust with strips of foil after 20 minutes of baking to prevent excessive browning.
