Christmas Quiche

1 1/2 cups half and half

4 eggs

1 cup (4 oz) Cheddar Cheese

1 tablespoon flour

1/4 cup green onion (sliced)

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

5 slices bacon

9″ pan with pastry crust

1. In a bowl, toss shredded cheese with flour.

2. Add onion, parsley, nutmeg, salt, pepper. Sprinkle on base of pastry shell.

3. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs with half and half; pour over cheese mixture.

4. Bake 35 minutes at 375 F (190 C).

5. Remove; place bacon on top, bake an additional 10 minutes.

6. Remove; serve.

Yields: 6-8 slices.

*Another one of my favorite’s. This is a light and delightful quiche and so easy to make.
