This is a continuation of the last article in which I depicted rules 1-4. Below are 5-7.
5. It’s alright not to know all the answers. They will come when you least expect it.
We all want to know the answers but if we did, what would we learn? Maybe your not meant to know the answers right away so that you may trust in the journey and learn as you go. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” (Proverbs 3:5)
6. You are in charge of your happiness.
That’s right! You truly are in charge of your own happiness. You can either choose to dwell, be miserable and have a pity party or you can be a soldier and change your life for the better regardless of your circumstances so that you may bring happiness for yourself. It’s up to you. Change your perspective and choose happiness over misery. ” A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crush spirit dries up the bones.” (Proverbs 17:22)
7. Smile. You don’t own all the problems in the world.
Absolutely! Problems will arise so long as we are living. Get use to it! But metaphorically speaking, don’t carry them on your shoulders. In time, problems get solved. Worrying does nothing for you. It only brings on anxiety and depression. Added stress that you don’t need. And do smile, because it doesn’t crack your face but it can put a smile on someone else’s face. “For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you.” (Isaiah 41:13)
